Job Description:
Under general supervision, maintain, repair, and install ice machines, kitchen equipment, appliances and refrigeration equipment throughout the District.
Duty Days: 226
Salary Range: (Based on 2021-2022 Compensation Plan)
Minimum: $26.93/hour
Salary Commensurate with Related Experience
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas driver’s license
Section 608 Technician Certification-Type Universal Certification
Knowledge of electrical principles and the repair, maintenance, and installation techniques of kitchen and refrigeration equipment
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material
Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
Ability to operate hand and power tools
Experience:
Experience with service and repair work on appliances, refrigeration, direct expansion (DX) cooling units and food service equipment
