Job Description:

Under general supervision, assist the electrician with maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems, services, and equipment for the District.  Maintain and provide for safe condition and operation of all electrical fixtures and systems in district facilities.

Duty Days:  226

Start Date:  July 1, 2022

Salary Range:

Minimum:  $16.14/hour

Salary Commensurate with Related Experience

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent;

Valid Texas Driver's License;

Ability to communicate professionally and work cooperatively as a team member.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Ability to perform mathematical calculations

Ability to assist with diagnosing and resolving problems

Ability to operate hand and power tools.

Experience:

Experience preferred in fields of maintenance, construction, or electrical.  An aptitude for and desire to grow in the electrician profession as an apprentice.
