Job Description:

Coordinate, manage and facilitate all Capital improvement and Bond Projects in the District.  Coordinate with Construction Managers and Architects on the design and development phases of construction projects.  Assist in coordination and monitoring construction process for new and renovation projects.  Ensure contractual and code compliance are met for all projects.

Salary Range: Salary will be commensurate with related experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in architecture.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in construction project management, capital improvement planning, construction project management, general maintenance construction, contract administration and procurement of construction services within a K-12 educational or municipal setting.
• Licensed Architect
• Auto CAD experience in architectural and/or engineering construction drawings
• Valid Texas driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to coordinate the planning and construction administration of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local building life safety codes, building codes, including.
• Skilled in personal computer use and proficient with computer aided software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and sign-off on blueprints and schematics.
