JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the management of food service operations at assigned campus, ensuring the appropriate quantities of food are available, prepared and served within scheduled times, while adhering to health codes established by city and state agencies. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall success of the school nutrition department and the mission of Barbers Hill ISD.

START DATE:   August 2022

SALARY:  $18.73 minimum

QUALIFICATIONS: 

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum of three years of food service experience in school or institutional setting

Valid Texas food safety manager's certification or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment

Ability to direct, manage and supervise others

Demonstrate professional appearance and cleanliness in work habits

Ability to coordinate and produce high quality work under pressure

Effective time management skills and able to follow directions

Competent in mathematics and basic cash handling procedures

Maintain a positive attitude toward work and other school personnel

Proficient use of computerized POS System
